About the Role
Ash Wellness is looking for a meticulous and driven operations manager with a background in clinical laboratory settings to take the lead on managing our national lab network. This person should be familiar with the day to day processes, terminology and regulations at a CLIA/CAP accredited lab while also being comfortable working with digital health tools and health system integration concepts. It will be their job to scale the Ash Lab Network alongside the Ash Platform

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and develop strong relationships with Ash’s partner labs
  • Manage new test panel onboarding with each lab partner
  • Draft, refine and oversee SOPs for lab partners to ensure smooth sample processing and interfacing with the Ash Platform
  • Perform QC checks of lab partners
  • Manage internal and external KPIs for the Labs and their outputs
  • Draft and maintain internal documentation on each lab partner (compliance, SOPs, Contacts etc.)
  • Serve as the point of escalation for test sample issues and devise system level solutions to address processing errors when they become a pattern
  • Work with Supply Chain team as necessary to manage procurement
  • Work with Product and Engineering team to develop new lab features for the Ash Platform

Requirements

  • Previous experience with diagnostic laboratory services and knowledge of standard lab terminology, understanding of PHI, data security and HIPAA
  • Ability to break down processes and define them
  • Experience managing vendors and external teams
  • Ability to design systems for scale
  • Comfortable working with health informatics and data (SQL a plus)
  • DaaS / at-home testing experience is a plus
