About the role:

As we work to grow and to deliver on our mission, we’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who is as excited to make healthcare more inclusive and accessible as we are. The full stack engineer will make regular contributions to new features and improvements as well as build key components of Ash's continuously growing technical infrastructure.


  • Make regular contributions to new features and improvements
  • Contribute to design efforts on new software systems
  • Support the delivery of new features with robust testing
  • Ability to be in-person in our office in Manhattan

Must Haves:

  • 1-3+ years of experience working as part of an engineering team
  • Experience with Cloud Engineering in Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services using Python and Flask
  • A strong emphasis on automating testing frameworks that fit into a CI/CD DevOps pipeline
  • Work that optimizes for scale.
  • An ability to work fluently with and make design considerations for both SQL and NoSQL-style databases
  • A strong background building rich front ends using Javascript and other tools

Nice to Haves:

  • Background in health-tech or health system engineering
  • Experience with electronic health record systems
  • Familiarity with laboratory information systems
  • Understanding of healthcare billing infrastructure
  • Familiarity with HIPAA/PHI best practices
